This policy explains what NoFaceTube (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. NoFaceTube is an editorial site. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we are
NoFaceTube is run by its editor, Steve. For anything in this policy, email hello@nofacetube.com.
Reading the site
You can read every page without an account and without giving us any personal information. Like any website, the site is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare), which processes technical request data such as your IP address to serve and protect the site.
Buying Clean Take
Clean Take is sold on this site. The checkout form on the page is run by Whop, which processes the payment. We never see or store your card details. Whop shares with us what we need to fulfil and support the order: your email address, your name if you give one, what you bought, the price, and the order’s date and status. Whop’s own privacy policy covers what Whop collects.
After you pay, you download the app from NoFaceTube. Our download server (Cloudflare) asks Whop whether your payment ID is paid and not refunded, then sends the file, and it processes technical request data such as your IP address to do so. We store a count of downloads against your payment ID, and your browser keeps the payment ID so the download page can find your purchase again. We use your order details to deliver the download, answer support requests, handle refunds, and keep the records that tax law requires. Buying does not add you to our email list. Only the email list form does.
Email list
You can join our email list in two places: the newsletter form, which appears across the site and on the newsletter page, and the form on the Clean Take buy page, which also lowers the price. When you send either one, we check it with Turnstile (see Spam prevention), then store your email address, the time, and a one-way hash of a random confirmation code for up to 3 days, and we email you a confirmation link through Resend.
When you open the link and confirm, we keep your email address, when you asked and confirmed, and the version of the statement the form showed you. If you confirm on the buy page, we also keep the one-time discount code we created for you in Whop. We add your address to our contact list at Resend, which sends the NoFaceTube email: about one email a week about platform rule changes, faceless video, our tools, and offers. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Your browser also keeps your discount code until you use it, so the checkout can apply it again if you come back.
To limit abuse, we count signup attempts per IP address for an hour, and we hold a one-way hash of your address for 5 minutes after we send a confirmation email so the form cannot send you another one straight away.
The Clean Take app
Clean Take runs entirely on your computer. Your audio, scripts, and results stay on your PC: the app has no account, no analytics, and no update check, and it does not send anything over the internet. It keeps its speech engine and your settings in your Windows user folder.
Free tools by email
When we offer a free desktop tool, we deliver it by email. When you ask for one, the form tells you before you submit that we will also email you about updates to the tools, new tools, and paid tools. We use your address for exactly that. When you ask for a tool, we store:
- your email address and its status (pending, verified, or unsubscribed);
- which tools you asked for;
- the page you asked from, and any campaign (UTM) parameters in the link that brought you to the site;
- the version of the statement the form showed you, the IP address and browser user-agent of the request, and the IP address of your first download, kept as a record of your agreement and to prevent abuse;
- when you asked, first downloaded, or unsubscribed, and how many download emails have been sent to the address;
- each download: which tool and platform, when, and the IP address and browser user-agent of the request.
We email you a link to your downloads. Your address counts as verified once you download something through that link. The link works for 30 days. The links in our emails contain random codes; we store only a one-way hash of each code, never the code itself.
Every email we send about the tools has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. After you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we do not email it again by mistake, unless you ask for a tool again or ask us to delete it.
Emailing us
Email you send to hello@nofacetube.com is received by Cloudflare and forwarded to our inbox at Google (Gmail). We keep your message, your address, and anything you include so we can answer you and handle any follow-up, such as a refund.
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, we store your name, email address, topic, message, the page you sent it from, campaign parameters, IP address, browser user-agent, and the time. We use them to read and answer your message and to prevent abuse.
We may email you a short automatic acknowledgement that does not repeat your message (at most one per address every 15 minutes). A copy of your message may also be emailed to our own inbox so we can read it.
Email records
For each email we send, we log the recipient address, which email it was, its subject, the delivery provider’s message ID, and whether sending succeeded. We use this log to troubleshoot delivery and to enforce the sending limits described above.
Spam prevention
The forms use a hidden honeypot field, a check that rejects submissions sent implausibly fast, rate limiting by IP address, and Cloudflare Turnstile, a service that checks whether a visitor is likely to be a person. To verify a Turnstile check, our server sends Cloudflare the check’s token and your IP address. Rate-limit records contain the form name and your IP address, and are deleted automatically, normally within a day.
Browser storage and analytics
If you arrive through a link with campaign (UTM) parameters, the site stores them in your browser’s local storage, so a later signup or message can be attributed to that campaign. They stay until you clear your browser’s site data. We do not use advertising cookies.
Analytics are off by default: as configured, the site does not send page views or clicks to any analytics provider. The site has code that can do so if an analytics provider is configured. Before we turn that on, we will update this page to name the provider and what it collects.
How long we keep it
- Clean Take orders: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to seven years. Whop keeps its own copy under its own policy.
- Clean Take download counts: kept with the payment ID for as long as the purchase can be downloaded. Deleted on request.
- Rate-limit records: normally deleted within a day.
- Email list: unconfirmed signups expire after 3 days. Confirmed subscribers are kept while you are on the list. After you unsubscribe, Resend keeps the address marked as unsubscribed so it is not emailed again. Ask us and we delete both records.
- Download link codes: expire after 30 days.
- Tool request and download records: while you are on the list. After you unsubscribe, the address is kept marked as unsubscribed so it is not emailed again. Deleted on request.
- Contact messages and emails you send us: as long as we need them to answer you and handle any follow-up, such as a refund or a correction. Deleted on request.
- Records of emails we send: as long as we need them to troubleshoot delivery and enforce the sending limits above. Deleted on request.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare: website hosting, the server code that handles the forms (Workers), the database that stores the records above (D1), Turnstile, the Clean Take download and its download counts, and email list signups (Workers, R2, and KV).
- Resend: sending every email from NoFaceTube (list confirmations, the NoFaceTube email, download links, and acknowledgements) and keeping the list of subscribers. See Resend’s privacy policy.
- Whop: the Clean Take checkout form embedded on our page, the payment, order records, and the email list discount codes. See Whop’s privacy policy.
- Google (Gmail): the inbox that receives email you send us. See Google’s privacy policy.
These providers are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there and in other countries where they operate.

- Email list and free tool emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link.
- Clean Take orders, downloads, and refunds: performing our contract with you.
- Order records kept for tax and accounting: our legal obligations.
- Answering messages, spam prevention, rate limiting, and email records: our legitimate interest in running a secure site and replying to the people who write to us.
